Holley 2v spitting gas out breather?@#$!
This has to be the weirdest thing that I have ever seen a carb do.
I put this Holley 2v carb with electric choke on a 351 modified the other day....it was sitting around after I took it off another 289 I had sitting too. Everything was running great.....on the 3rd day she decided to start spitting and spuddering then nothing at all. So my brother and I rebuilt the carb thinking something old blocked something inside.
Reinstalled it again, and again on the 3rd day she started spitting and spuddering then nothing......again. Tried another needle valve, nothing. Swapped in a 4v with a 2v reducer plate....seems to be okay for now......keeping in mind that the only reason I put the 2v Holley on was because the old won was just toooooo old and beat up blowing more gas than it was burning.
Still don't know what the problem is.....any insight would be greatly appricated.
Thanks,
Tony
