Default 2+2 Seatbelts, over the shoulder

Before a recent trip to Dallas, SWMBO demanded seat belts be installed, It was time to install the Wescos waiting their turn http://wescoperformance.stores.yahoo.net/resebe.html \

Mounted high, just below the headliner is the backing plate for the over the shoulder lead. Old vent framing(below the backing plate) is cut & hammered over to have no sharp edges, that would cut the belt.
Coincidentaly, the shot shows what ya have to cut away, for Shelby Quarter windows

.
Reel, & Belts installed in the car.
Man, I did'nt see that saw in the top of the toolbox, just waiting to slid into the cars paint.

Panels reinstalled. slot cut in sail panel, & ready to go.
If I were to do this over the slot inthe sai panel would be an in. lower, and angled down from the back a little more

Thanks, the factory look was the goal.
The drivers seat sits lower than the passenger seat, and wearing a shirt with a collar is helpfull on long drives. Around town no worries.

You know...I never thought of that. The seatbelt in my fox cuts into my neck all the time, and it just occured to me that it's because it's got the wrong seats in it and they sit too low.

<--- On a mission for some gray GT seats now. LOL!

SS4Lunch asked me to post, more shots of my car. One concept used, an idea I've had since the 60's, my dash stripes. This shot was taken Nov 2005, after the EFI was running, car was still mostly a shell, painting the dash, gave me some tangible progress, andlet me get an idea of how colors picked would work. I've always been pleased with the concept, though have had to paint it 3 more times-once because of glove box door causing a gouge, second because of body shop over spray. Yeah, home made insulating pad.

Now

I believe they make littlepads to go on the strap of a golf bag so it doesn't hurt your shoulder when you have to carry your clubs all day. You may want to drop by a golf shop and see if they have anything that you can put on for those longer drives.

I like the paint on the dash, that's something you don't see everyday. The seat belts look really good too,I wish there was something like that for my convertible.

I betnobody would notice it if you found one the same color as your interior.Beyond that, you are probably only person who'd notice it being out of place, and if you're driving then you really can't see it anyway.
