its something that you bolt the body of your car too so that you can spin it over and work on the bottom or top or whatever without having to crawl around on the floor

RE: mustang is on the rotisserie
I am assuming you bought that rotisserie. I found some plans online that explain how to make one. I was wondering if it is really beneficial to the resto job. I am about to begin my 66 coupe and am not sure how clean up the undercarriage.
I would like to avoid chemical dipping b/c i dont have the $ to invest in that. But rust is a HUGE concern for me. I am 22 and probably going to hold on to this car for a long time. I needto have a good foundation to build on.
I guess what I am asking anyone is, should I spend the $ on a store-bought rotisserie (~$1000), make one myself (~$350), or get a chemical dip to remove paint, rust, bondo, fiberglass, etc. (~$1600)?
Thanks a bunch.

how did you attach it to the rear? I had to get creative when I mounted mine in the rear. The frame rail is easy up front but The bumper mounts in the rear are too flimsy so I had to brace them up. Souperman I also built my rotisserie and I spent around 250. Mine isn't as fancy as the one shown above but it is really stout.

RE: mustang is on the rotisserie
this is the rotisserie a finished building last weekend there was an other post on that. The issues I have are the arms with the wheels on them twist too much and make it hard to move around by myself. and the paint on the up rights made it get suck fully raised, and the rams are low on fliud. I am consiring how to fix the wheels, the uprights a little grease is all they needed, and you can guess the rams. The rear is attached on the outside of the frame rails where the tiedowns bolt on. I took a 6" peice of 1 1/2" tubing welded that to a 6" x 8" plate and an another 18" peice of 1 1/2" tubing its kind of a z shape with the plate going straiht up and down. I forgot about taking a pic of that but I will take one for you tomorrow. I spent about $400 on this and the steel was free as I said in the other post I can email the plans as an attachment to anyone who wants them for free. All I need is your email the pm system here does't let me do attachments

Always a few field changes. Sounds like its gonna work just fine when you get the bugs out.
