Guy that's listing this rear says it's out of a '73, but the length I think is a tad short for that. Also he says it was K code car....thought that was only 65-67???? Anyways, also noticed the taper on the housing ends, so was thinking maybe 65/66??? Just curious....

going buy the axle tag he shows its from a 69-71 mustang or cougar its a 2.75 gear 28 spline you can get the same axle same price from http://www.perogie.com/Rears.htm as far as i know the k code died in 67

yeah, no more K-codes after 67.
NVM i read the post again, and he said the AXLE CODE was a K. Andrea must have pulled up a k code rear end and found that information for you.
