Mine was a little more than 3 grand with an aluminum drive shaft, and worth every penny!!!

Checkout Modern Driveline at http://www.moderndriveline.com/they have some of the best conversion packages.

The best package deal I'm aware of is at Dark Horse Performance. If you are willing to hit the salvage yards you can definitely save some dough.

Their website sucks but it is the best deal on a complete kit that I could find, they were very helpful on the phone. Bruce at Modern Driveline is also very knowledgable.

ya ill give the guys at dark horse a call looks pretty good. As for selling the old part i didn't even think of that. It will hopefully off set the price of shipping to canada :P im still gunna look for the trans in a salvage yard anyone else i might want to keep an eye out in the yards aswell?

I think I paid about $2,000 for mine, but I already had a clutch pedal in the car, so I guess technically that doesnt count. You didnt mention what kind of manualtrans you want to use, but anywhere from $500 to $3,000 is what it would cost. You can pick up a used t-10 for ~$300, plus maybe another $200 for linkage to make it work, but thats a big difference from an all new Motrosport t5z with Motorsport clutch, scattershield, cable clutch, crossmember, aftermarket shifter, etc, on many levels. All depends what you want and what you need.
