My first post and it's about oil If you are running the stock flat tappet lifters, then you need an oil with a higher zinc level than most oils today. Zinc screws up catalytic converters, so they've taken it out of oil, but the side effect has been that flat tappet lifters eat the cams. Shell Rotella for diesel motors is probably the best choice since it has higher levels of zinc.
If you are running roller lifters, then any off the shelf oil should work just fine.
