Gas Tank - Undercoat?
Replacing the gas tank. Should I undercoat or coat it with something elsebefore the install? Thanks!

I undercoated the bottom of mine, no real reason just thought it might help if rocks hit it or something

I coated my replacement with chassic black. It looks good but I have no idea how it will hold up.

I painted the top black and used the spray on rubberized coating on the bottom. Looks good and don't have to worry about it chipping off from rocks and such like normal paint would.

i havent put anything on mine but i did make sure to use plenty of seam sealer in between the body and the tank
