I feel all those hp and torque numbers are always inflated and a sales gimick.....
I will have to disagree with you on this one, as stated elsewhere in this thread, my Brother in law bought a 408 Chevy from T&L.

Was advertised as 500 HP and 500 TQ.... it dynoed at 514 Hp and 505 Tq... (while still new andtight).

For full disclosure I will say that this was on T & L's dyno, but I do not believe that they would have "adjusted" the figures. There are still some people with integrity. In any case, I don't think that either you or I have a basis for questioning this integrity.

Yeah I tend to believe them, alot I do not though. But those shops that Dyno the engines I trust simply because if someone took the engine to be dyno'd somewhere else and the figures were not at all correct they can be charged with a. false advirtisement and b. fraud. 2 serious things that most businesses want no part of.

One thing I have to say to the kid is, good luck with that 400 hp, at 16 it can get away from you fast.
Are you trying to imply its too much power for me?

And,,, often, some people will do the right thing because it is just the right thing to do,,, irregardless of the penalties for not doing so.... Integrity is not entirely dead....
