Easy way to tell, pull a plug.If it's dark brown or black and sooty, it's too rich. If it's black and oily or crusted, blow-by. You'd also likely be spitting oil out of the breather cap, and possibly blowing the pcv valve right out of the grommet.

i pulled some plugs today and they couldn't look any better

so i'm going to blame that exhaust smoke on the cold weather unless someone knows better
