Default any mass-flo efi users out there?

I'm thinking about putting one on my 408, I hate carburetors and I hate tuning speed density efi almost as much as tuning carbs.

I bought a 700.00 prosystems carb which is suposed to be the ultimate and am not impressed at all.......

I know its expensive but I have a garage full of parts I can sell and almost have enough for one.......any cons about the system besides price?

well if you are gonna have a wild 408 thentuning the efi will take some patience putting together the proper fuel system and getting the tune right via a chip burned and or a stand alone..cause if you use an agressive cam expect a little patience to be rendered to tune out any idle issues

Did you get the carb direct from Prosystems?

Yes I did, I gave Patrick all my specs, its a 950hp and it runs super rich, bogs at WOT and I have checked and adjusted it, checked fuel press, set int timing up to 20 and all I can say my speed demon 650 VS out of the box runs better all the way around except for the PS has a bit more top end and not that much and hits harder at WOT. My 408 is not really radical, its 10.1 comp, CI custom hy roller 231 242 578 576 @ 050 113.8 lca, 205 cc ported twisted wedge heads, lentech aod with 10" converter in a 67 vert so its pretty mild. Everyone seemed to say the PS carb would run perfect or close to perfect out of the box and most do but mine didn't, I'm not looking forward to changing jets, drilling air bleeds etc...I'm sure this carb will kick *** if tuned right but I could have bought a demon 750-850 and had better results out of the box for 300.00+ cheaper. I think EFI is in my future........screw carbs!
