Default Happy Christmas everybody!

Hi all

Seasons Greetings - hope you all finish the year on a high note!!

I have been away from the boards for months. Cant believe how busy the year has been.
So, news update. The vibration issue in the mustang is balancer/ flywheel related. Spigot is also in need of renewal so new mounts purchased, other bits and pieces on the way and hope to get into it in Jan. Also doing the shelby drop (finally) and minor brake upgrade as well as some suspension tuning. Probably going to soften off the springs a little, ditch the rear sway and get some new rear shocks.

the falcon GT is back with the engine builder for first firing of the new 408 (next week, camera will be running). Rewiring and new custom headers took way longer than expected, but the new seat is mounted, cage back in and should be ready for testing in Feb for our season start in March.

Fairlane has to be sold - moved house and the new shed is too small. It doesnt want to leave so has developed a serious knock in the top of one bank and running on 7 - suspect broken rocker arm. (hoepfully nothing worse!!)

Rally season is well underway. Scored an embarrasing class win in a mates MGF which i swear I will never race again. Honest!!! Won our class and category as well as a 5th outright from 150 starters in the Classic Adelaide this year in the Brocky...Damn thats as good as it gets for this car. Nice air shot at http://www.pbase.com/allshots_imaging/image/89920937

Anyway, life is great. Hope 2008 is a brilliant yearfor all you guys as well.

Cheers
Ben

Was wondering where you've been Ben. Lucky you, summer just started there. Happy Christmas.

FWIW, much of the world uses the greeting 'Happy Christmas', presumably including Australia where Ben resides.

Happy, Merry, Joyous ... doesn't matter to me as long as I don't get a lump of coal in my stocking.
