Fender Flare ?Question?
Hello all, and (((Merry Christmas))),
Got a question about the use of after aftermarket Fender flares,
over the winter I will get started on the bodywork of the ol-'66 stang
it does have some rust issues but nothing major, the original owner had
done some work of his own by already replacing the floor pans, the problem area's are around the fender lips and 1/4 panel's. So! being these parts need to be reworked/replaced I have been thinking about perhaps extenteding the fenders out a bit more because I will be running some wide meats 295x50's on rear and 215x65,s on the front, I have tried this tire combo out and look great,
although does stick out the rear fenders about 1 inch more than I would like, and shortning the axle is not an option that I care to have done. Plus I think the flared fenders will give more beef look, Now! I'm not talking about the puky
custom van fender flare look, but a all steel tig weld in flare/lip install,
Does anyone know where these type flares can be purchased? or will this have to be custom fab'd? and has anyone done this to their Mustang? Here is what I'm talking about.
Thanks for any & all input.

Here you go. These are steel and I think you will have to build them, but they look nice. A little pricy though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fende...3503QQtcZphoto
