Ive seen the top side of 170mph in a 69 camaro 502 almost same suspension set up as mine there were no problems with stability in that thing.
then again I will never see those speeds on the street again anway.

I have given subi's a good run with my 7000lb diesel pickup, it does make 435hp and 860 ft lbs of torque though.....my 67 vert will eat a subi from off the line to top speed.....a 500+hp 408 and an aod seem to do the trick.....

I know you all like talkin about who would win this or that, but when racing, you have to compare apples to apples. That's why there are soooo many race classes, to make it even. Racing a 1965-70car against a2007 car is like comparing apples to oranges. Yes, I know there are many mods that can be done, but.....I'd root for the classic any day. 10-15 years from now, no onewill have the cars that are made today.

Don't bother arguing with ricers, it's pointless; I've done it many times before. But I agree with everybody else, the STI's are pretty damn quick, but I'd take a classic Mustang over one any day.

Actually a few weeks ago I had a modded WRX "race" me. I pulled up next to him at a light and as soon as it turned green he took off, didn't even rev or anything. I got smoked, of course I should have stopped trying when I heard the turbo spooling.
