351 Cleveland 4V ideas
Hi,
I want to upgrade my 1970 351 Cleveland 4V to a high compression, high rpm, 450+ horse engine, with keeping my original 4V heads (restored that is). I also want that irregular idle, the horses at 3000+ rpm. I'm putting in a holeshot 3200 converter.
I need advise/ideas on what to use for a cam, pistons, headersand intake, cause I'm not familiair (yet) to the 351 cleveland, uptill now I worked only mopar 440 engines. Also need advise on a locker (Detroit locker). The car is a 1970 Mustang coupe...

www.ausfordparts.com check out there heads and abd the parker funnel web intakes if you want an awesome engine

nah, he's wanting a high rpm screamer..... sticking with his 4v heads IS the way to go. i could add to this thread all day with ideas, but lemmie just say HELL YEAH to you[8D]

id be going with sanderson headers and probably a parker intake as stated above....and if you can come up with the money get CHI (matching intake) or AFD heads (more for drag racing) because they will turn it into an absolute terror on the street.
