direct fit brakes?
 

Has anyone used this vendor I'm looking at a power brake booster and master cylinder

Depends on what year your mustang is 65/66 that one might not fit.

I did install their kit on my 66 - 2 comments:

- You would need to cut a little bit your firewall for the installation to work - not veyr difficult and it is not that much to cut
- The initial adjustable rod they sent was too long, so they sent me another one for free and it is now working fine
- Their instructions are not the best but they are responsive to questions

Working good on my car though!

For a 65/66 try http://www.mustangsteve.com/BRAKES.html any other years listed on that go for it.

Sorry, I forget I don't have a signature with my info, but I have a 66 I6 mustang. Thanks for the replies, doesn't sound too bad for installing the direct fit brakes. I was wondering also what anyone thinks of SSBC and their booster and master cylinder. Is it also as bolt in as they say it is?

As long as there for a inline 6 if not you need to change to v8 spindles

Here is a picture of my set up - had to change the tie rods since I have a V8

The OP only asked about the booster and MC, it didn't say anything about disk brakes.

Is that what you're looking at as well waldo? If so, you'll have to upgrade the spindles, tie rods, and wheels. Check out: www.discbrakeswap.com

Yea I was just asking about the booster and master cylinder. I'm trying to upgrade to disc brakes, but also still use the 4 bolt spindles.
