Speaking of 'new' EFI, it looks like Professional Products is producing a knock-off (hard to believe from Professional Products, huh? :D) of the Boss EFI.

Yeah, looks nice but 4749.00!!!!!!!!! They have got to be kidding. Who in they're right mind would pay almost 5 grand for and EFI kit? Edelbrock has a multi point unit for half of that. What a waste. I guess there really is a sucker born every minute......

RE: another new efi on the block
where did you get that number from? the fast ez efi isn't even for sale yet, the advertising dept jumped the gun as tech dept has no info yet.
The PP "boss efi" is the same as the retrotek boss efi just re sold under a different name, their port efi is a joint venture using PP intakes and rails, retrotek computer and TB and price difference will be minimal if any, PP will release the cast version of the boss efi first. I talked to Fast this morning, all they know is it will be for mild eng combos, similar to the boss efi in design IE hi pressure injected throttlebody, self learning and no return line, more info and possibly availability in late FEB, is the 4749.00 the port inj price? the mass flo efi is cheaper........ |
