And how about how we envy you oldbuggersthat were able to buy fully loaded muscle cars for under $5,000 BRAND NEW? Grass is always greener on the other side.
When muscle cars were under $5,000 a good pay scale was $3.00 per hour, about $6,240 per year. It's all relative.

I threw the #s in to an inflation calculator of what a $2500.00 mustang in 1064 would cost today if inflation was the only thing that changed and this is the result.

What cost $2500 in 1964 would cost $16763.04 in 2007.
