Default One piece glass - door window

Curious if anyone has ever seen it on a classic? It was a popular mod on one of my old trucks and I though it might be different on these as well.

I can see why it wouldn't work; it could be engineered to possibly improve the sealing on the doors.

I've seen this too on other classics, I don't get it. I think it's a shame they stopped putting in vent wings.

The vent wings look great on classics. However, I would like to have a one piece window for the modern look and being unique from the the other mustangs. Doubt I will even look into it, unless someone comes out with that kit that is proven to work.

Anyone with a flat piece of metal can open our doors just as easily.

The vent window is a classic look, agreed. However, with all the customized rides out there, it's hard to believe know one has done this. Other than making the metal trim for the glass frame what’s to it? I don't remember the glass being curved, is it?

It's not the look I like so much, as the functionality. I used to be a smoker, so I used them all the time. Don't smoke anymore, but still like the ability to open the vent wing for some fresh air. To each his own .......

I'm betting the reason noone has a kit for it is that the glass may be less stable in the mid position. All the way up or all the way down you'd have no problem, but I bet it wouldn't be stable in the middle. Just a thought.

There is a company who makes 1 piece glass for our cars. I found them at the turkey rod run in Daytona a few years ago. The business name was Vintage Glass or Vintage Auto Glass or something like that.I had his card but seem to have lost it.It looked pretty nice, you can order it smoked from the factory so no tint. They also had power options for front and the small rear 1/4 window.

I did a photo edit on my car, the change is subtle and looks okay.

The first pic is normal, and the second is the one I changed.

I think it looks pretty cool... I think it would probably be a pain to convert though...

Deebo68 Nice photo edit...
