Default good welder?

is this a good welder for weldin up roll cage/exhaust/body work/frame etc..

i have this exact welder, i love it, no problems, and got a auto helmet with it,...works out awesome

i have any older version of this welder...i think its great for the hobbyist, but i got it from a pro. welder...i prefer the gas to the flux core(i hate cleaning spatter)... will serve you well for years...imho

Definately use the shielding gas. Makes for a much cleaner job and better welds, I think. After welding both ways, gas and no gas, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Gas is much better, cleaner better looking welds. MIG (Metal Inert Gas). Flux core is just a material surrounding the wire for protection during the welding process.

i dont see how its discontinued... it says it in stock. and the 140c is more money andc ant weld as thick metal
