A friend of mine and I were talking about his 70 Mach 1. It has power steering and he was looking into a power rack and pinion. I know there are a few conversion kits out there, some I have seen go for $2k. So my question or questions...

Is there a certain kit he needs to look into if he has the 351 Cleveland?
Does he need to go back to the stock manifolds to get the kit to work, he has after market headers now?

The kit i've found that makes the most room for header is randalls rack. For the 2k, it was power also. And you didn'ty need to mount the res on the inner fender
