need a hand with alternator brackets
Does anyone have an exploded view of the fron of the engine. I am finishing a timing cover replacement and I seem to have an extra bracket left over, not to mention the alternator is dangling ! :P
Thanks in advance

RE: need a hand with alternator brackets
There should be a triangular shaped bracket that goes from the timing cover to the long bolt that goes through the alternator and into the cylinder head. This bracket firms up the "pivot side" of the alternator.
Another curved bracket should run from the timing cover to the "adjustment" side of the alternator.
I was trying to get a photo of our somewhat modified setup for reference, but I am experiencing "technical difficulties".

IT looks like I have 2 brackets for the lowers side of the alternator, not including the triangular piece.
Thnaks for any help

Other than a spacer and a long bolt that passes through the end of the triangular bracket bracket into the cylinder head, these two pieces should mount your alternator....
I will see if I can find an assembly diagram somewhere.
