How are the bearings in the rear end? Can you wiggle the driveshaft up and down, side to side?

I was never able to eliminate it from my car.
"aggressive" is probably a bit too strong.

"assertive"? - use a few more revs and positive engagement of the clutch.

On the odd time where someone else has driven my car, they have been very tentative. Thats when the problem occurs.

If its been driven like that for a while, you may have damaged your clutch plate.

very nice looking car by the way...got any more pics?

@ Aussie66Fastback

You will find information on following link : http://webplaza.pt.lu/rdecker/info.htm

As I think that these manual cars left factory without shouddering, I'm trying to locate the fault.Firts I'm looking if the engine-gearbox-drivetrain alignment is ok, so I will change my tall style motormounts with the short style mounts.(Both exist and I don't know which one is right),after that I will check with other leaf springs (these are still the old ones), and after that I will replace the driveshaft Yokes.These are my first ideas, so I will keep you on the run.

regards
Robert

The short motor mounts will not fit. The frame brackets are different. Last year I wasn't sure which ones I needed so I got the short ones. They didn't even come close. I went back and got the tall ones which bolted right in.
The springs might be a good idea, if they are that old you should replace them anyway.
It's doubtful that the yokes are bad, if they were you'd probably have a constant vibration.

Do you have access to a dyno machine? If you could run the drivetrain while the car is stationary it might show you something.

@Oxnard Montalvo,

Thanks for the information with the motor mounts.So I can spare this work.
I also had the idea putting it on a long hydraulic lift where the cars wheels are not in the air, and starting in 1st gear, and someone looking what happens under tha car on the drivetrain.

best regards
Robert

Did anyone mention the simple one... u-joints front or rear?
What type of driveshaft do you have (1 piece or 2 piece) 1 piece- You could remove it and make sure it is balanced correctly. 2piece- the rubber sleeve could be getting worn out.

Have you lowered your car in the back using lowering blocks or changed rearends or lefted the motor or trans? Pinion angle wrap can cause vibration when shifting due to axle wrap under acceleration and de acceleration.

Did you drill new holes or drill out the existing and re-thread the flywheel?

@crpstreetmachines,
U-joints have been replaced (front & rear)
I have a 1 piece driveshaft, but I think it must be balanced because there are no vibrations during the drive even not at 120mph.
Car is not lowered, just the old crappy leaf springs, I just left them on the car because the car stands lower as with new ones.
I drilled NEW holes in the flywheel,and re-thread them.

If you do that be very careful and just let it idle as the unloaded drivetrain will cause a backlash. This backlash can damage the pressure plate drive straps. A dyno would be better.

Had a similar problemonce. After a motor change, the driveshaft wasn't the right length and the yoke didn't insert far enough into the tranny.
