Sorry to see this. But on the brighter side, you won't have to upgrade to that bigger fan.

that really sucks, you really should try to get those security cams, and need to do what i do, if the mustang gets out of the garage, i take my dog with me that barks at everyone and no one comes near it. at least you didnt have a steal hood, that couldve cause alot more damage

Well all I can say is DAMN! That sucks. Sorry it happened.
On a side note Walmart is very unlikely to release the video or even show it to you without you going to the police first and having them look into it. Walmart looks after Walmart and once you leave their building they don't give a **** about you in anyway. They have extremely poor public relations in this way unfortunately.

On the topic of the hood pins, here is what I have seen. I saw a couple guys at shows that just had regular hood pins but instead of putting the pin through the hook on the hood, they just put a small padlock through it. Sounds like the best way to do it to me...

ORIGINAL: gothand

I couldn't get the cops to come out and file a report when they stole my '92 Mustang GT. One time I called in to report a theft that I witnessed and they wouldn't send an officer to my house to file a report and I had to drive the 15 minutes down to the station to do so. In other words, don't count on the police to take any action! [:@]

Jeff
It's kind of bad when a person can get a cop to their house in 5 minuites by starting a car with open headers, but if someone steals the same car you can just forget about it....

Sorry to hear about this. I know I would be livid too. A lot of people dont like the look of what I have done to keep my engine bay safe from prying eyes and sticky fingers.

One thing is the hood trigger alarm sensor but before they get that ear splitter, they gotta navigate past this:
