use the r-model front valance that doesnt use the bumper?

+1 in Illinois.. gotta have front and rear. My son just got a warning for having a "roll pan" on his pickup. We are going to weld a 4" water pipe between the frame rails and call that a "bumper behind the facia". see if that fly's.

what do they do about the work trucks that come without bumper, beds etc? in IL they all have bumpers on the showroom floor

Here in MD you have special exceptions to vintage cars..to some extent.

Check your local states laws and its kinda bull a lot of street rods shave off there bumpers same thing with the air cooled bug.Also it could depend the year of car what you can do.
