just to clarify, just wondering if an alcohol burning car would be made mild enough for driving around. (they have been burning alcohol in drag and race cars for some time right?)

ouch, that fill up looks like it hurts... its just about a quarter away from $4.00 for regular round me

68 bucks?? i put that in my 79 f250 after i took out the big second tank...i put 80 in my 08 f150 every 2 weeks and thats just below 1/4 tank..

your gas prices are 25 cents higher than mine here in ny.

68 is ok truck stops have the cheapest gas.Last time i filled both tanks on my 1ton truck was 122 bucks 3 years ago gotta love a 30 gallon then a 20 gallon.But that gas lasted me 2 months.Gas in the usa is still cheaper then the rest of the world.

I am afraid that I must disagree with you here. IN the middle east where most oil comes from, it is usually less than 1 US dollar per gallon. But not many peopl can even afford any type of car, much less a classic Mustang, so it really doesn't matter does it? Lol.

This was written in the late 70s durring the fuel crisis. keep in mind alcohol (ehethanol) cost $8 and up these days, so it's still not cost effective.

its not the price of gas is the falling dollar. if we looked at monetary policy and stopped spending and printing money that we dont have and go beyond our means the price would go back down.
