i just took the I6 and c4 out of my 67 mustang and i want to put it up for sale how much should i ask. i am not sure if the engine or tranny was replaced so how find out what i have. should i sell it together or should i spilt it up and try to get more money? i also don't need the axle how much is a 4 bolt axle worth out of a mustang ?

what is the best way to sell a motor- ebay, craigslist ?

I would do Craigs List first, that way people to far away arn't asking your questions.

I need some I6 parts. Where are you lacated?

Definitely try craigslist. As for price, i bought a rebuilt inline 6 from autozone about a year ago for $1400. You, most likely, wont get that much but start from around there and see where it gets you.

ThanksDad- what parts are you looking for? ive got a bunch left over from my '66

you can pick up i6 and c4 combos in my area all day for $150. I have picked up two c4/i6 combos for $100 each off craigslist. IF you ask $1400, youre gong to get laughed at.

I need a good rebuildable cylinder head. I figure if I see an engine cheap I'll buy the whole thing and keep it for parts.
