Default RE: Double-Din Stereo in a 65?

Just went out and looked at the 65. Their is not too much room in the normal radio area. It would be a great location though. It will be getting a DD and most likely be their in that location. If the heater controls and ashtrey were just about 1/2" lower, it would fit OK. Also the chassis seems like it will fit but the trim ring is just a little too big. But if Frogshad wings. It will take some fab work, but with the overhang of the dash, it will be a great location. I will post some photos once I get into it. ON EDIT:: I only had a 66 to compare it to (I tossed the 65 dash pad). The 65's differ and it may be easier to do. It seems they don't come down as much like the 66's do.
