Ken Harrison 6x9's

I bought a set of Ken Harrison 6x9's for my 67 becuase I loved the speaker grill enclosure they use for their speakers. I dont need the actual 6x9 speakers. If anyone wants them, im only looking for $30.00 plus shipping. They are new and come with the full install kit and wires, they will only be missing the speaker grills. Just pm me. (second picture Upload)

The cost $59.00 at npd

Here is a pic of what im doing with them, I installed kenwwod's into the custom deck pod. (this is the deck with out the brake light) Its nothing too flashy, it just makes the rear deck look a little more usefull.

WARNING TO ANYONE WHO GETS THE DECK POD

Its very hard to clean the rear glass once the speaker is installed

isnt there already 6x9 holes under the package tray??? there were in my '68. i remember building a custom package tray out of 1/4" plywood and speaker grille cloth and it looked completely stock

yup, thats how I did my '69, everything was all there and ready to go...so I just popped in a pair of Infinity Reference 6x9s with a bass-link sub tucked in the trunk it sounds awesome. The front speakers are tiny and located center which isn't ideal but once I faded everything to the rear it came out sounding really really good. Oh and I had to pop the package tray and insulate it because it was rattling terribly, but once I did that it was perfect.

In mine I wanted to keep the old stock radio intact so I had the stereo mounted stealth under the glove box (see photo), I control it via remote. The plug you see coming out of it is the AUX jack that I plug my ipod into

thanx, yeah its the only thing visible other than the sub which I really like but I still get the awesome sound, its a perfect compromise. Only downside is that the stereo sounds so good I can't hear the engine so I alternate between music and the raw engine sound ;)
