Poor man's jack stands

There have been a number of posts here about jack stands, ramps, blocking, etc. This would fall under the category of "Not Recommended."

Notice the buzz box sitting in front of the truck? He's probably just welding up a hole in the gas tank.

I was fully expecting to see your car sitting atop some neatly stacked leftover patio pavers....

LMAO,
Dave

Well I have personally seen two more for the Darwin award.

1) I was at a junk yard once, they where working under a car YES under a car taking out a trans I think with a boom truck and had a hook around each mirror and that was it!

2) I had a place do work on my sons Fireo once and they had the rear hood open and a come-a-long hooked to the trunk latch on the body and the beam in there shop holding it in the air to work under it w/o stands ( I had a fit, when I saw it)
