3 wiring problems to finish
Hi, everyone!
I bought a 67 Mustang coupe that has been out of the road about 10 years! After a detailing restoration (by myself and brother), I discovered 3 wires that connects to nothing. I have 57 books about Mustang and, you can trust, they do nothave informations about these wires. First of all: a wire with tag C7ZB 10C895-A was cut andabandoned in the glove box. It's pictured with his 7,5A fuse. For the Love of God, WHERE THIS WIRE CAME FROM? Second: a plug disconnected, behind the AM radio location. It has two wires blue/violet connected together behind this plug. The third wire (and what optionals my coupe have) will feature in the next topic, because the 3 files exceeds 400kb. RE: 3 wiring problems to finish
What about power supplies for ac, rally pack, fused wire lead looks like ground attached to firewall possibly??

RE: 3 wiring problems to finish
Hi, Restomod66! The car does not have ACor Rally Pack. I wrote all the features my car have in another post like this (3 wiring problems to finish (cont.)) and it still in the main page. I don't want to turn on the ACC switch after I am sure of what this wires can do to my car.
If you can help me on the "(cont.)" post on main page, I will be forever glad! Regards, Marcio Costa |
RE: 3 wiring problems to finish
Even though the car does not have those options it was still wired for them I believe.

RE: 3 wiring problems to finish
OK! So, any chances to know WHERE it came from? My main wiring is incredible original, with all tags in place and I don't want to open it. Could it be "essential" to turn on my car? If it has a fuse and it can be a "ground" wire, this would not be a important wire?

RE: 3 wiring problems to finish
i AM GOING TO TAKE BRIEF STAB. THE PLUG BEHIND THE RADIO COULD BE FOR THE NUETRAL SAFTEY SWITCH. IS YOUR CAR AN AUTO OR STANDARD?
THE GLOVE BOX WIRE MAY BE FOR A COURTESY LIGHT OR COULD IT BE RELATED TO THE HAZARD LIGHTS? I HAVE SOME ABANDONED WIRES THAT WERE FROM THE HAZARDS IN THAT VERY LOCATION IN MY 66 |
RE: 3 wiring problems to finish
+1 on the hazard and courtesy lights in the glovebox!!
