66 Coupe, any help with guess on production date

66 Coupe, any help with guess on production date
My 66 289 has had replacement parts so I do not have an official door tag. it was built in Metuchen and the sequence numbers are 172XXX. Does anyone have numbers close enough that I might make an educated guess on what date I can add on my replacement door tag. thanks in advance for any help.
