Need help printing the Shelby Drop Template
Hello,
I want to do the Shelby drop on my 65. I have found several websites that have the printable template. Every time I print one out, it ends up being a smaller picture than what is shown on the website. How do I get the template to print exactly how it looks on the page, which is the correct size. Thanks for any help with this.

Use the tape to make sure its right! More than likely the actual size will change when printed. The template is easy to make with the measurements and a small plastic square. Also use the right size drill bit (start small and work up).

Thats exactly what I did I was going to order it from Daze but I couldn't wait the couple of days it would take. See my car was a the shop for a week and when the UCA came in I thought i would take advantage and to the drop. I printed one out did transfered it to a metal template and I tried to see if the shaft would fit and it didn't thats when I found out it wasn't to scale. Stupid me for not measuring imagine if I would of used that template on my car. So I did another copy and got a ruler measered the distance and I used a center punch to make the starting point. then I just went up to the hole size needed then verified it work, was the right distance and transfered it to my car just remember the other side will use the template the opposite side. hope I made sense, remember you will need to flip the template to use it on the opposite side of the car.

I measured my plate (from Daze) and the mounting holes measured 1/2" x 3 3/4" on center, the pilot (1/8") holes are 1" down and 1/8" back off the centerline, towards the rear of the car.
The plate is really the way to go.
