Default Dove tail spoiler, how do you feel?

I have been kicking around the idea of getting a dove tail spoiler deck lid for my coupe when I repaint it, like the Shelby's. I have never seen one on a car in person, does anybody have one of their coupe, pictures if possible, thanks. Also any opinion on them?

I think they look good on coupes and convertibles. Here are a couple different angles of my car.

Definitely do it... best spoiler out there IMO. I just picked up a nice 67' and I plan to do the same along with the shelby taillight conversion.

I'd say go for it, I plan on adding one to my '65, hopefully this summer.

I like them. Always have. I think it adds a nice line to the trunk.

Adding it to our 67 coupe as well. Much better looking I think. Bought the trunk lid and end caps from Tony Branda. I was really happy with all the fiberglass we bought from him (entire 68 Shelby setup) except for the end caps unfortunately. They will take a pile of fiberglass fill to build up however everything else from him fits great and will only need the typical work needed.

I plan on doing the same thing to my 67 coupe as well. I was glad to see the super coupe link above because I wanted to keep the stock tail lights and not replace them with the shelby kit.

keep us posted as to how yours turns out, with pics. thanks

Wow I completely blanked on the CS, I forgot that they had it. And 68EFIVert that is still a damn nice car, how did the photo shoot go?

It is reassuring that they are good quality but I wish they had one made of steel instead of fiberglass but I realize how impractical that is. Only if they weren't so expensive.
