04 terminator and T56 into a 69 Fastback

Can this be done? How much work needs to be done? I assume the shock towers will need to go. Any comment would be appreciated.

yeah shock tower then you gotta wire it up and plumb it, get mounts, exhaust etc

yes it can be done www.sn65.com they took a different approach its actually the 65 body on a 03-04 cobra platform pretty cool

terminator is a 03-04 mustang cobra

It can be done b/c I was talking to my mechanic about it. He is doing a 67 Shelby Convertible clone for a customer with the 03 Cobra Motor (Terminator) with a GT500 6 speed transmission. They did have to add aftermarket suspension (to remove shock towers), they went with the Griggs setup and I must say it looks very nice.

I'm not a mod motor fan being a ford tech done that to me.I rather use a 460 i can make more power only thing a mod motor can beat it on is mpg and times towed lol.Why not the lightning 5.4 which is dohc and a blower.Is the cobra 4.6 a 4 bolt or 6 bolt main?
