LED's are really great!

This evening I replaced my instrument cluster housing / lens.

While I was at it I put in the LED gauge lights.

I turned off all the lights in the garage then turned on the car lights and it is much much better. First, the dull green light color is gone for a nice blue but the really nice part is they are a lot brighter.

Well worth the $29 or whatever the bulbs costs.

I agree LED lights are great. I can now read my instrument cluster. I got LED's from both MustangProject and a place on E-bay. I found the lights I got on E-by to be better and cheaper. For anyone whose is interested I got mine from

The price was right and the shipping was very fast even though they came from Hong Kong

Thanks for the tip on the speed nuts

I kind of like the way my cluster lights up with the OEM setup. I would also like to see pics of this though.

If they made LEDs in the stock color, that also dimmed, that would be nice, but I wasn't able to find such a thing last time I looked.

I have the 2x LED lights in the 66 and it made a big difference
The new 5x leds will work with a dimmer switch and are even brighter and in stock color,
Here is the Ebay store and pictures:

Sweet, I can't stand the dull OEM lights. I'm going to give these a shot.

Make sure you order the kit for your year Mustang. The kits have different numbers of lights and the correct colors (warning lights, turn signals, hi beam)
Wish I would have seen the 5x kit but the 2x kit works really well.

Is there more to it than changing bulbs? Sound like you may have to cluster apart to set up.
