Biggest 15" Rear Tire for a 67 Coupe!?
What is the biggest possable tire that you can fit on a 15" rim for a 67 coupe? I am about to buy wheels and rims and i want to give the car a pretty good rake with some beefy tires out the back. I might run leaf spacers to jack it up about an inch. What bs would i need, and what rim width?
Is a 275/60/15 possable??
Give me some ideas and photos!
Thanks

Your might have to tub it a little (hammer) or flair the lips. It will be about 1/2 inch or so from the spring. Watch the backspacing also, maybe 4.5" or 5" on the rear. It can be done. Heres a photo of a 275. The spring perches were moved in about 1/2 and inch, without a roll and flair, you very well may need to do this.

I think you would be safe with these and not have to do any modifications on a 67'.
