Mine attathed between the window and the window frame. The connectors connected there and the louvered piece bolted to those.

The fold down rear seat is Ginger - ugly brown

I noticed that too, $450 for the louvers, thats a little much. How tinted are your windows? you said you wanted to eliminate some heat.

It sounds like a lot of work to install one like that. I'm guessing the window would have to come out for that even if I could find a NOS one.

I was looking for a blue fold down seat for my friend. Her 73 Mach is blue & blue interior.

My Mach is the glow gold metallic with the ever popular ginger interior. I guess I'm glad it wasn't black inside cause that would have made it even hotter!!! I don't need any replacement items for the inside. I didn't get a car with the fold down seat.

I'll keep looking for an acceptable rear louver & post if/when I find something acceptable.

I am getting ready to retint the back window. I will go pretty dark again. I originally grabbed the fold down rear seat to install in my car, but when I learned that I will loose my full size spare, I decided against it.

I may break down and get the more expensive louver if I have to but $$$ are tight.

The windows have the factory tint on them now. I was thinking about something darker but the state & local copes here really frown upon that. It's just another reason to harass you & pull you over.

It's been pretty hot here and I won't leave the windows down when I park it. It's not bad on the highway but gets darn hot when in city traffic!

I'll keep looking till I find something!

It's it's Glow Gold metalic with a Ginger interior. You don't see many with that color. It's an interesting color & really looks good with the black trim.

I've been trying to post a pic but it keeps saying it's too large when I try to add it to my sig. The file size of the pic is about 32k I think but something is still too big.

What color carpet is on the seat? I had thought about looking for one for my Mach but never thought about loosing the full size spage. I dont have one of the funny little emergency tires. Do you have all the hardware to install the fold-down seat?

I will have to check. I think that I am missing only the parts the weld to the car for the seat to clip into. and maybe the half round piece at the top.

The carpet is the original ginger.
