My Stang is finally about to have its heart transplant.
The new 302 will be here in about a week. Here is a picture of it. https://mustangforums.com/forum/memb...3544-ef302.jpg |

|

what are the specs? what alu heads are those? what cam, what carb, what intake ? and how much did you put down for it? |
whered you get the engine built? and who and where did you get the brackets are they the same setup as a 5.0 mustang?
|
looks like a eddy carb, so it cant be making much more power over stock :P :P
jk looks great, what are the specs? pics of the car itself? |
haha racin good one.
holley ftw i also like the brackets. i might go with a serpentine setup if i ever work on my car again. do they have a kit for only the crank pulley, alt, and water pump? |
Holley/Weber FTW!
|
Looks good, but I'd ditch the crappy gatorback belt.

Edit: Yup... The part number for the pulley system is MCH-30420 and the belt is GTR-4060595. |
I can't wait to hear it run again!
Its definitely going to be a totally different animal than it used to be. It was an I6 before. Here is my 65. https://mustangforums.com/forum/memb...ghts-added.jpg The engine was built by the Engine Factory. Here are most of the details. http://www.fordcobraengines.com/shop...5&ProductId=15 The pulleys are March. They make a serp setup for just alternator and water pump. Whats wrong with the Goodyear belts? I like the Gatorback belts. My 95 F150 has one. Its actually its second one. They seem to last well and don't make noise. My truck has 265K miles on it. I had a Gates and it squeeled when it was raining so I dumped it. Dayco polycog I think its called are good. My Dad had one of the Dayco belts on his 97 Cobra for a long time. |
