67 mustang coupe w/ 66 gt valance

Default 67 mustang coupe w/ 66 gt valance

has anyone ever put th 66 valance w/ trumpet holes on a 67 mustang. i really like the trumpets for the 66 mustang gt. how much fab work is need, if any. are the valances pretyy much the same size. thanks

im pretty sure the 67 is wider then the 66, so the valance may not be wide enough

Just take a hacksaw or a hammer and beat a hole into your existing valance. The end result will be the same; awkward.

Anyways I really dont think you should do that to your 67. Have you looked at the gt valance on a 67?

I have done that to mine. I used a 67 valance and cut the 66 type holes in it and used the 66 GT trim rings. Also blocked off the back up light holes. I don't think that a 66 Gt valance will work. I like the look and if that is what you like go for it! It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Here are some pictures.

imo the exhaust is sticking too far out, but like you said who cares what anyone else thinks. its your ride so have at it

The ends are cut at different angles. I tried my son's 68 on my 66 to check and it doesn't fit at all.
