Default New Edelbrock E-Street Heads.

Has anybody had any experience with these yet. I see that they are about $200 cheaper than the Performer RPM heads per pair.
Looks like the main differences are in the seats, spring diameter and valve seals.

I’m considering the RPM #60229 heads with the 1.9. and 1.60 valves. What do you guys think? Good alternative to the 60229 or just cheap questionable assemblies ?

The main difference is that they're cast, not CNC'd. Port design isn't going to be as good as a CNC'd head. They're basically the equivalent of the aluminum Windsor Jr heads. Good price, though.

If you're running a stock bottom end, I think they'd do fine.

You'll be fine if you stick with edelbrock. No worries on the CNC though. E heads only have a touch of CNC, but they aren't ported that I know of.

Looks like they're a slightly lower performing version of the RPM head. They'd be good for a mild street engine where you wanted to save some money.
