Exclamation Looking for my dads old mustang

My dad had a 1968 Mustang i dont know much about it but he talks about it all the time and i want to find it for him. I have the VIN but carfax or any other place i found cant find a car that old so if any one knows a way to find it let me know plz and if you have a 1968 mustang the VIN is 8F01J108316 Thank you

your best bet is to just hit up every mustang site, try talking to mustang magazine companies and see if they will run a story/blurb about you lookin for the car etc.

carf coiuld have been scraqpped, sold to europe .... i think the best way is to ask who he sold it to and contact that person on what he did with it ...

Find a friend or someone who knows someone that works for the sheriff department. Try to get the old liscense plate number as well. They should be able to locate for you.

Yeah,Do a title search and you should at least be able to come up with who it was titled to last,Then maybe contact them to see if they have it or know where it went.

Sometimes people buy old cars and just run around with a signed title if the car is not road worthy anymore.

My guess is that your best bet is to try and find out who your dad sold it to, track them down and then follow the trail from there.

The car my be in a bone yard rotting somewhere or sitting in someone's garage, who knows....
