73 mustang with 84 351w and C6 gearbox
Has anyone any idea where I can get a stripdown manual for a Ford C6 Automatic Transmission?
We think the gear linkage is 90 degrees out as the original Ford F150 it came from was column shift and the stang is a "floor shift"
We cant figure out if we do need to move the selector or if theres another way to convert it to work in the mustang.
Any ideas would be gratefully received. The car is almost ready to move under her own power for the fiorst time in nearly 3 years.

Got it sorted.
We went to the local transmission place and were pleasantly surprised to see two old English cars done up as Dragsters.
Anyway we have to weld a piece onto the gear change shaft and ensure that we cool it down before each spot weld in order to avoid damaging any seals.
I can arrange to put up some drawings or photos of the mod (once complete)if anyone is interested.....hey I'll even put the measurements in imperial too! hey thats a bargain guys
