you are incorrect. The Taurus fan will cool amost anything and blows more cfm then most off the shelf fans,

depending on your w/p to radiator clearance, you might have to trim the fan shroud.

One of my buddies has a desert race truck that runs a Taurus fan. Like Iskwezm said, they push more CFM than most other stock fans. They have two speeds and chew up a massive amount of power when both fans are running, but they work great. You just have to figure out how to mount it to the radiator.

Another good option is a Mk VII fan. Similar fan that blows something like 3000CFM.

The issue you have to deal with is clearance. Depending on the radiator you are running, it may not fit.

The taurus fan pulls 130 amps on startup so a 75amp alt will not be sufficient. Also finding a fan controller with a big enough relay is impossible so wiring becomes difficult. I kept burning up relays until I used a bosch 75amp. The fan pulls an estimated 2000 cfms and thats a real number not bs like the ebay fans. excellent for almost any hot rod.

And james is right fitting it can be very tight. My clearance is insanely tight.

I dont think it pulls 130 on start up, thats a bit high.We have only got it to spike to about 65-70 amps on high speed start up.I have a 80 amp relay and never had a problem or needed the expence of a fan controller,Ford only used a 40 amp relay. The cfm on high is rated above 3000 cfm (according to my Ford manuals)and the motor is the same for the Windstar,3.8 Mustang/Taurus.My fan is strong enought to suck thick rag and hold it onto the grill which is about 6+" away fornm the radiator core.

4000 cfm?

you could mount the thing on the roof and skip the engine, add wings and you'd have an airplane =P
