Going from 225 to 205 for the front tires...

Will a change from 225 to 205 in the front will make a noticeable difference in my steering effort? (67 without PS).

i hope so, as I have 225 in rear and decided to go in front for 205 without even trying 225.
so if you do it and tell me there's no difference I'd feel like an awful idiot

That said. I still don't know what your problem is. i have _no_ trouble steering, but I look like a gaul parking and turning. once it moves I'm good with easy steering.
Are you saying you have problems steering while driving? then I don't think it's your tyres but maybe an overtight steering box or whatever other problem
As JMD mentioned in the last thread maybe your steering wheel to small?
let us know where the problem actually is. driving or parking/turning

I think it will make a difference, not sure how noticable.

One question, and I don't mean it to sound condecending, but have you ever driven a manual steering car before? And did it steer easier than your 'Stang?

Manual steering does take some getting used to, and should be very easy except in parking lot situations. In your earlier post you mentioned someone told you it was not safe, but if it's only in parking lots, I don't think safety is a concern unless you just can't turn at all.

ya. that's kinda what i was thinking as well. if it take 3 minutes parking. feck it. at least your car will look good while you make an ass out of yourself ...

I have 245s on the front of mine and the power steering cylinder went out when I was at the 45th show and I still havent fixed it but I have no problem steering at all.

No problem, I understand your question.

My other car is a 1986 Peugeot 205 GTi from France and it has manual steering with 195 tires in the front. That said, my girlfriend can drive it / park it without any problem which is not the case for the Mustang (225 tires and a 289 under the hood). I am ok with the steering effort but something a little bit easier would make the whole experience better.

I believe going from 225 to 205 should not impact the look that much and since we all have two tires in the front, I was wondering how noticeable the difference would be.

Remember that tire pressure and compound stickiness also factor into turning effort.

I have 205s on the front and they aren't hard to steer.

This is why I decided to go with 215 in the front. My 65 hasn't been driven since the V8 swap, but the steering is not hard to manupulate in the garage and driveway.

I have 225/60R15 back and 205/60R15 front. Obviously that makes the front wheel smaller in radius, but that's kinda what I wanted instead of going 205/65 or something
