I like the blue color. Glad your wanting to stay with it. Hope the new paint works out OK. We are awaiting the coming home from the paint shop pics.
Now that it's off to paint will you have some time to take the Christmas lights off the house?

Ha ha Funny guy! Notice the upstairs roof doesnt have any? I took them down one year almost fell all the way to the ground. We have snow on the ground from Oct to April, but you are right I guess I should remove the lower level ones! Check the pics when the car gets back the Christmas lights will be down.

I would say go with the silver wheels. Then again, I've never really been a fan of black wheels.

OK Not the right subjects for this forum BUT this would have made a nice Christmas card had there been some Christmas lights in it! LOL

I lined up the GMC trucks and tore the Christmas lights today.
Pic was taken at about 9:45 PM Alaska time. Our long days are upon us!
In order left to right My Wifes 05 Pewter Yukon Denali AWD, my 07 Black Sierra Denali Crew cab AWD, 17 yo Daughters 02 Black Sierra Ex Cab short bed 4x4, 19 yo Daughters 01 Custom metal flake orange Ex cab step side short bed 4x4, 88 GMC Grey & maroon reg cab short bed, 16 (to be) Daughters 85 GMC white reg cab short bed 4x4.
I took a pic and 3 of the 6 are going into storage for the summer...
BUT the Christmas lights are down so you guys can blame this GMC pic in a Mustang forum on honeygoldcoupe!

Well here she is!
Wow looks good in person, while not perfect by any means we are glad to have it painted!

The color looks good in the sunshine.

Here was a before shot:

The new paint is so much brighter!

The side scoops and the hood blinker inserts are chrome. Talking to the original owner they were that way from day one. So either they were done by the dealer or some rare factory thing so they will stay chrome. Other than rim, tires, front seats and a few things under the hood the car is pretty much original.

Well here is a few shots of her back on the road!

You can see what wheels my wife went with. (but typical woman fasion she said she 'might' like the grey ones too!)

Here SHE is driving her baby:

Just a few miles from our house, little bit of snow still @ only 1500' elevation:
