Default Fuel & Brake lines

I was wondering how these should be run. I'm thinking of running both down through the trany tunnel but was wondering if this is the best option. Admittedly this is the easiest option as both lines could run down the center of the firewall and straight back. Proportioning valve is mounted left of the brake booster (looking at it from front of car) so it goes drops right into the tunnel. The fuel rail comes forward into 180* and straight back and down to the tunnel. Suggestions or warnings on this?

personally id just buy the OEM replacement lines and route them the factory way, with the factory retainers etc it will be the easiest way imho

There is nothing factory about the car. Also with Wilwood disk in the front, explorer disks in the rear, proportioning valve mounted about center of firewall, rear mounted electric fuel pump, etc, etc with all the other changes OEM replacements will not work and would have to be modified anyways. I'm using 3/8" Braided stainless fuel line and 3/16 stainless brake lines.

OK so I could run them down the inside of the left / right frame rails sub-frame connectors. The problem here lies the fuel line coming up and how close they might be to the JBA mid-length headers.

nothing is factory about my disc brakes either :P ive got 13inch SSBCfront and 10.5inch rear.but other than my prop valve (i put my prop valve on the left inner fender) i ran the lines from front to rear and across the engine compartment just like stock

and for the gas line i ran the 3/8 shelby gas line, and just a hose from the tank to the hard line and one from the hard line to the carb.

why not just run a 3/8 hard line and just the braided in the engine compartment?

ive heard of some not liking it after running full braided from the tank. I just ran 2 new lines, mounted to inside of subframe connector and frame rails

i think it's just not a good idea with that braided hose on the undercarriage. a hard line is way better idea. a hardline will work for +45 years (ask me how I know). a braided hose might get dry. If one of the clams snap the line will be hanging down from car. Hit something on the road and that'll tear all your fuel line off your car. a hard line will stay in place
