Need help with mustang not starting
Hey guys,
This sounds funny but I do my own work on the Mercedes but can't seem to figure this 1967 289 mustang coupe that my son and I have....
Can't seem to start it. It makes clicking noise coming from starter solenoid when we try to start it, so I replace it...a friend told me maybe the starter was frozen, so I replace it since it was the original. Still making the same noise after those items were replaced.
Need some direction, how to test or?? Don't want to just start replacing things. I have a new voltage regulator as well. New battery..etc...

This has p....ed my off. I have new cables, good ground. I looked at all voltage. I have found that in the past I have had problems with the Optima I bought. Less than 30 miles and the car sat for a long time. I went to have the battery replaced but out of warranty by 2 months. Threw in a battery from a donor Mercedes I had.
Looked at another old post where the guy had the same problem. Switched the battery.
Fired right up.
Thanks for all your help guys!!!
