Default Fluid in the Rear Hog Head

What tye of fluid do you put in the hog head. I am going to be replacing mine. Also, how do you place the fluid in there?

Hmmm… differential? Early cars had a plug on the rear face of the housing. You'd have seen that, so look on the left side of the carrier casting for a pipe plug. IIRC, the square end of a 3/8" socket extension will fit the plug.

It should be filled to the bottom edge of the hole with 90W gear oil.
