Change the bearings on both sides, and go to NAPA if you have one and order some good bearings, something made in USA or Germany for instance.

Napa carries SKF, which I'm happy with. Most of them are made in the US or Germany. They're good, quality bearings.

That said, I believe CSK carries Timken which are just as good.

Both SKF and Timken are now made in either Mexico or China. NAPA only carries SKF and so does Checker. I didn't call Ford but I was told that what they carry is most likely also going to be made in Mexico. Does anyone have any other vendor that carries AMERICAN made wheel bearings?

Pooty, I work at Napa and I can tell you that most of my SKF stock isn't made in Mexico. Sure, some of the really common bearing sets are, but the more specialized bearings are manufactured in Spain, Germany, Japan, etc.

Edit: Apparently the front wheel bearings are BR6's, which are super common and...made in Mexico. *shrug* I'd still run them on my car.
