Default Best way to seal up the rear window..

Ive got some water getting through my window seal. What have you guys used to keep out the water? I was thinking about using window weld, but Im afraid that might be over kill for the rear. Please let me know what you think..

I used 3M Bedding and galzing compound. See the link below. It is specifically designed for sealing between the gasket and body. It stays very pliable. I used it after the window was in between the gasket and body then ran some in the channel where the window rests. Seemed to work well.

I'm having a similar issue, water leaks in from the rear window in one place. Do I need to remove the window, or simply remove the chrome trim, apply the 3M product, and reapply trim?

yes and its non hardening.

I might go so far as to say you should redo the window seal because when you pull it out you will find a rust hole or 2 through the window channel. They should be patched and the channel coated with por 15.
